Eiesland - Disabled God

Eiesland - Disabled GodNancy was one of the first authors in 1994 to tackle the topic of a ‘theology of disability’ in “The Disabled God“.  She writes more as a sociologist and activist rather than a theologian, however, the value of her book cannot be over estimated. She raised a number of critical issues in the disability community and although controversial never-the-less important.  Although many might disagree with her conclusions, the questions she raises are critical and important for the church and those interested in theology to wrestle with.
