WORD:
“Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.“ (1 John 3:2, NLT)
THOUGHT:
God has, from eternity, had our future on His mind. There is a transformation ahead of us where this future will be revealed to others and to ourselves: who we really are. What we see and know in the present is not the full story, but only the beginning.
PRAYER:
Father, may we not seek to mold others into our image. We pray that we would hold this image we have of ourselves up to Light of Christ, so that we may begin our transformation into your likeness here and now.
I have many orthopedic issues as well as having a full above knee amputation and a very serious autoimmune disease with open wounds to my remaining leg plus a ton of stuff to complicated to explain, I am in the process of also being baptised and due to my many issues and being a perminant wheelchair user I’m not sure how this is going to happen, my open wounds cannot have water on them due to serious infection problems, I cannot be carried, wheeled in, “dunked”. So as you see, it’s a real problem. Any ideas???
